Body Image and Self Esteem

People often struggle with body image and self esteem at almost every stage of their life.  Know this; no matter what your body type or what you look like, at least four people you encounter or pass by in a single day; think you are attractive.  The media gives us tons of images of people who are toned and skinny every day.  Truth is, not everyone is attracted to that body type.

Losing Weight and Working Out

If you want to lose weight or tone up; that’s fantastic!  Just be sure you are doing it for the right reason.  Don’t lose weight or work out to be sexy or beautiful.  You are already beautiful and you are already sexy.  If you want to lose weight for you, go for it.  If you want to tone up for you, go for it.  Don’t go into it thinking you need to lose weight or tone up to be sexy or beautiful.  Tell yourself everyday that you already are those things and so much more.  This is just something you want to do because you’ve decided to.  This outlook and attitude also helps you to succeed at it.

Attitude is Everything For Body Image and Self Esteem

By taking the laid back and very real outlook of; I’m going to lose weight or tone up just for me, because it’s something I want to do; not because I need it… will free you from the pressure that comes with thinking if you don’t succeed; then you aren’t beautiful or sexy.  You are beautiful and sexy every single day of your life.  You are a unique, one-of-a-kind creation and there are plenty of people who find you sexy, no matter what your body type.

Just be  you.  Be the beautiful, sexy, intelligent, and irreplaceable person you are.
